Position Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator is a skilled support function of the marketing department, and is responsible
for supporting the design and distribution process of marketing collateral. Writing and candid
photography skills will be necessary as well as the flexibility to adjust to changing objectives and
schedules.
1 Position Available / Permanent – Full time
Objectives of this Role
- • Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy
- • Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying
- and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation
- • Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success
- • Performs other duties as assigned
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- • Support the Marketing Manager in evaluating and establishing the marketing plan and strategy
- by planning and organizing promotional presentations, and updating calendars
- • Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to sales team and internal clients
- – provide instructions for use or promotion
- • Plan and manage meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and
- coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and
- coordinating mailing lists
- • Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data, and provide
- recommendations to sales and marketing leadership
Skills and Qualification
- College student or recent graduate
- • Basic understanding of digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
- • Excellent computer / technical skills
- - Strong written and verbal communication skills
- - Attention to detail
- - Solid organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management
- (CRM) tools – HubSpot
- • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- • Past work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role
Physical Requirements
- • Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach, climb
- steps, and use ladder for long periods of time daily
- • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- • Ability to communicate verbally using a telephone
